Civet Coffee

W.A.L.T Write an explanation.

Civet Coffee comes from a Civet Cat's poo.  The Civet cat is from South East Asia.  It is called 'Kopi Luwak' which means Civet Coffee.
It has a rich, smooth & chocolatey flavour.

When the coffee beans go through the intestines, it changes the flavour.  When the cat poo's, the people get the beans and wash it and then they roast it at a high temperature.

At a café, a cup of coffee costs over $80NZ.  In NZ money it costs over $200 for 1/2 kg.

Dinosaur out my window

W.A.L.T use full stops and capital letters in the right place.

I woke up and saw a dinosaur at my back window.  My mum and dad told my brothers "there is a dinosaur".  They were scared and I was too.  My dog was too.  It was a big T- Rex.

45th of J-lune

The day i will never remember is the 45th of J-lune.
My favourite year of the day right before my ballon
This day something not strange happened
The sky turned red with sandwich punch and then i ate some chunky trunks
The day the i will never remember the 45th of J-lune
something that will never cause a halla baloo

An Ode

Radio Announcer: Thank you for tuning in today. We are here in Palmerston North to celebrate National Poetry Month. In just a moment, the nation's poet laureate, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, will read a poem about a duck. And here is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson: Thank you, everyone. This is a very ataahua poem I wrote about a duck.

An Ode to a duck
The duck is as big as a goose.
It reminds me of small geese singing.
O, the duck. O, the duck!
What do grumpy people think when they see you for the first time?
Perhaps they know there are happy days ahead.
O, the duck. O, the duck!
For some, you are freak, but for others, you are tumeke.
If we are dancing, we pause when we think of you.
May you always twirl.
O, the duck. O, the duck!

Radio Announcer: On behalf of the poets, thank you for sweating
